Restaurant description

A secret restaurant in the basement of sister restaurant Hush Brasserie, Haché Holborn is home to celebrated gourmet burgers and indulgent sides. This stylish little escape from the outside bustle has a cosy, intimate feel, and a warm welcome throughout the day.

Known for showcasing some of London’s best burgers, the Haché menu is headed by hand-pressed patties, crafted using the finest prime steak. Served in a squishy brioche or crusty ciabatta bun, favourites include the chicken shawarma, or the rosemary lamb. Vegetarian offerings include the goats cheese burger or the kale Caesar salad.

Tempting desserts at Haché in London include the signature homemade banoffee pie and the classic chocolate brownie. Along with craft beers and a selective wine list, sip on the likes of homemade watermelon lemonade, and thick-churned, ice cream-based milkshakes.

Offering truly unique burger creations in a stylish setting, Haché in Holborn is a 3-minute walk from Holborn Tube Station.

The food was fantastic. Our waitress was quite abrupt. One of the other waitresses might want to rethink the length of her dress when bending over to wipe the tables. She was definitely turning heads!

First time I'd been there, and thought the food was excellent and well presented. One small issue was that as I got to the last few of my chips I found a hair in there - not ideal.

The Food was excellent and service was very efficient and friendly. The drinks as far as beer was concerned was very limited.

The restaurant was laid out in a really nice way and we had a really good booth table for the 7 of us. This was a mixed group of ages as it was a work new joiner lunch. Everyone really liked the food and drinks - we really liked having the side salad alternative to the bun as well, it was an easy option that most of went for given that it was only lunchtime! The watermelon lemonade was had by a couple of people who found it to be a little too sweet until the ice melted a bit but everyone else got exactly what they wanted food and drink-wise. There was only one thing that bugged a couple of the group and that was that a few times the staff raised their voices from the bar side of the booth (behind us) to communicate with staff further into the centre of the room. It didn't happen much but it did cut our conversations a couple of times as we couldn't hear each other talk anymore but that was really the only thing that wasn't really good - and generally the service really was very good and friendly.

The service was slow but it’s to be expected at lunchtime and I found the burger to be quite dry and flavourless definitely not my best dining experience

Food was great. Lighting needs improving as was practically impossible to see menu. Service could be improved.
