Showcasing luxurious and inventive takes on the classic burger, Haché Balham is a funky, modern setting to indulge in this comfort food favourite. The stylish interior features exposed brick, twinkling chandeliers, and an intimate little nook with an arched ceiling for cosy group meals.
Known for showcasing some of London’s best burgers, the Haché menu is headed by hand-pressed patties, crafted using the finest prime steak. Served in a squishy brioche or crusty ciabatta bun, favourites include the chicken shawarma, or the rosemary lamb. Vegetarian offerings include the goats cheese burger or the kale Caesar salad.
Tempting desserts at Haché in London include the signature homemade banoffee pie and the classic chocolate brownie. Along with craft beers and a selective wine list, sip on the likes of homemade watermelon lemonade, and thick-churned, ice cream-based milkshakes.
A firm favourite south of the river, Haché in Balham brings a luxurious angle to the London burger scene. Balham Tube Station is just 3 minutes' walk away.

An excellent child-friendly restaurant. Burgers are excellent. A bottle of Malbec was vg and reasonably priced. Service was friendly (though a little slow).

Love this restaurant! Food always delicious - huge choice on the menu and my husband says the burgers melt in your mouth. As I don't eat red meat I either have the mushroom burger or the chicken shawarma one without the bun - really tasty - great salad too. Best sweet potato fries I've tasted. Don't be fooled into thinking this is 'just a burger place' - interesting choices, great friendly service and nice ambience. Highly recommend.

A quiet Thursday evening, the service was lovely in particular the Irish lady who assisted us, she was attentive and very polite. The food was very good the burger absolutely beautiful, the chips were good, although the portions could be more.

The food was great and the menu had the perfect amount of options.
Ambience was great for a chilled date and the overall price was good. Nice to have 20% off.
The staff were very friendly but there was no structure to their service...they were all covering the entire restaurant and therefore we kept being left or the waiters were forgetting us and our orders. It took 10 mins to get the bill which was really annoying and ruined the experience of what could have been an excellent evening and dinning experience. The waiters should have designated areas so the customer and staff know who they are looking after or ordering from!
Simple solution really...
I will be coming back again and look forward to seeing if this mistake has been rectified.

Appalling, table waitress lovely but everything else dreadful. Chosen wine unavailable, 2nd choice was ghastly, 3fd choice resulted in the manageress trying to open the bottle for 10 minutes and succeeding in splashing red wine over my husband’s trousers and shoes!! My husband had offered to open the bottle for her, as it was obvious that she had absolutely no idea how to do it.... but she refused his help. She did offer to pay for dry cleaning if we sent in the bill, but continued to charge for the bottle of wine. The chosen starter was also not available, they forgot to bring out the sides and had to be asked again. They forgot one starter altogether but still charged our bill!!
The £9.95 Gin and Tonics were served in a water glass with warm fever tree tonic, and 2 cubes of ice which melted immediately.
Despite having Irish coffee on the menu, they were incapable of making it, The small amount of cream had mixed throughout, there was three times the amount of whisky required and it was impossible to drink. Despite leaving most of it, Not one member of staff bothered to enquire if there was a problem. The burgers themselves were very nice. But the bill came to £221.12 including the non optional service charge of £24.57 , It was absolutely scandalous for the quality of service .
