Named after the narrow-necked cooking pots that give its north Indian frontier food its distinctive flavour, Haandi is a mellow, sophisticated restaurant in the north London suburb of Edgware. Dishes such as spicy mutton vindaloo and tawa prawn masala are prepared in the open kitchen by chefs trained in the original Nairobi branch, while diners watch the fish in the giant aquarium and soak up the friendly atmosphere.
