Found within a stunning Art Deco building, Grosvenor Casino Maybury brings contemporary European cuisine to the outskirts of Edinburgh. The dining area overlooks the buzzy gaming floor, and there is also a unique karaoke room.

Served in a relaxed, welcoming setting, the Grosvenor Casino menu offers an eclectic range of contemporary dishes. Topped with mushroom and stilton, the 8oz rump steak leads the signature grill range, with the likes of Persian-spiced half chicken amongst the other flavour-packed options.

Indulgent treats such as the three berry mousse cake make up the dessert menu at Grosvenor Casino. From the bar, handpicked wines, beers and international spirits are on hand to complement the variety of flavours throughout your meal.

Please note that Grosvenor Casino is not open to anyone under the age of 18. If you look under 25 you may be asked for ID. Grosvenor restaurant in Edinburgh is a 5-mile drive from central Edinburgh.

I think this restaurant is a great venue for dinner with its art-deco theme, the food was excellent and great value for the cost.
And as for the booking that was so easy, thanks for a great night.

This is an excellent genuine Art Deco experience with well dressed tables and generous spacing between them. The food menus are good, varied and very reasonably priced. The staff are very friendly and dressed to support the Art Deco environment. After your meal you can venture onto the Roulette tables where you can enjoy winning the cost of your taxi home.

I am sorry to say i was not impressed with my food at all. My starter, jumbo prawn cocktail (which i have had at this location before)...was regular shrimp served in a drinking tumbler!, the lettuce was a whole leaf, which was difficult to cut when i tried to do so in the 'tumbler'. My main course 'salmon fillet' was more like the tail end of the salmon, and although it said served with baby potatoes, i was served chips! I had to ask for the potatoes, my dish was also served with fried mushroom, onion rings and tomato...i have NEVER been served such a combination, sides with salmon tend to be salad or vegetables, not fried foods. My meal resembled something thrown together at a cheap buffet restaurant. My dessert was the trio dish...the 'roulade' was seriously disappointing, nothing like the picture of a light sponge filled with fresh cream, it was stodgy and i am convinced it was a slice of blue lable roly poly from Tesco. The rest of my party had good meals, mainly steak dishes, although these dishes were served incorrectly...requested rare steak with no seasoning, but was wrong...when brought to us it was the medium steak which had no seasoning and the rare steak was husband and daughter had to exchange with each other both eating a steak not cooked as requested, fried onion rings, mushrooms etc served, more appropriate on their plates!. The service was excellent, Laura? & Kyle looked after us very well.
