Did not like the table lay-out, I hate facing a wall when dining. Food was very nice but I could not understand having a side plate of cottage pie with our Fillet of Aberdeen Angus Beef, we both would have preferred potato mash or a roast potato, Disappointingly, only one cottage pie was delivered to the table as well. Even for fine dining, portions were small.

We had an amazing six course surprise tasting menu at Grazing by Mark Greenaway in Edinburgh on Saturday. Each dish was so delicious, full of complex flavours and wonderful texture. All the dishes were so interesting and full of fun. I would highly recommend anyone try out the surprise menu, it was SPECTACULAR! Thanks so much to everyone involved in making our evening so special xx

Amazing amazing food - each course a festival in the mouth - we went for the harvestoun beer pairing and this worked excellently - still have dreams about the duck skin butter !!!

It was good, food was nice, but didn't have the chateau briand that we wanted. The spotlights are a bit blinding and we had to move table. Kids in the restaurant after 8 on a Saturday didn't help either. Staff were very good, mixed experience based on above

Great Food - Grazing with the change of starter to have soft shell crab rather than mushrooms. Excellent wine and good service

Four of us dined here on Sunday and had the Roast Chicken x 2. We all thoroughly enjoyed it, a very generous platter of food, too much for us to finish, but everything was really delicious.

Everything was great, from the staff who greeted us at our arrival to those who served our meal. The ambiance of the restaurant is calm and pleasant. It’s particularly nice that there’s very low background music so you can easily chat with your partner. The soft shell crabs were SO good, first time I’ve ever had them. The plaice & ugly potatoes were a joy. The wine was of the usual good standard that we expect from Mark’s restaurants.
