Really enjoyed our evening here - not your traditional Indian which was great as some new dishes to try. I had the lamb biryani which comes with a pie case and was delicious and my husband had the lamb shanks which were melt in the mouth - will definitely be coming back

The whole experience from being greeted at the door, eating and being wished farewell, was exceptional.

Yes it was more expensive than your bog standard curry, but there was nothing standard about this experience.

    Particularly recommend the rabbit tikka.

Polite attentive staff were the icing on the cake.

    Thanks GTR

First time dining here. Overall very impressed, welcoming staff, excellent service and very good food - plenty of it and very tasty.
We visited after a trip to the local cinema and the restaurant is in easy walking distance. Will definitely visit again!

Food really nice and different. Was a Saturday night but we were very rushed and table next to us had a seat put at the end which meant woman’s long hair was too close to our food for comfort

My first time and I really enjoyed it - great dishes good spicing a massive step up from your local Indian- cracking wine list ( I know wine and curry doesn’t normally go) and good attentive service - what more can you ask for ?

We ate here recently for the first time. It was a significantly different experience to regular high street curry based restaurants. We were warmly received and seated. We started with lovely cocktails, one alcoholic, one not. The menu included dishes I've never seen before. Even the chutneys with the traditional papadums starter were slightly different. Service was very professional and interactive. The food was delicious. Good to see local craft beer available. The restaurant was crowded, it was a Saturday evening but we did not feel cramped. It is more expensive than regular high street restaurants, but in my view you get what you pay for. We really enjoyed our visit and will certainly return.

We dined with friends - 4 of us in all. We had been to the restaurant before but our friends hadn't. We had a splendid meal with brilliant service. Dishes were carefully explained and delightfully served. As regular curry house diners, the experience was totally different. Most impressed!

It was a return visit! We are becoming quite the regulars and now have our favourite dishes - lamb chops, Biryani, chicken thighs and black lentils. Even the popadoms and chutneys are exceptional! We are so pleased to have this restaurant so close to us and it has become our favourite spot for special occasions and celebrations.

This restaurant is perfect if you're looking for something special for an evening out. The service, decor and food are all impeccable. It's more expensive than your usual Indian restaurant but it's well worth it for the whole experience. The friend I dined with said it was 'a very posh Indian' and I suppose that sums it up quite nicely
