It was very nice. The food was excellent and the service very good. As it was such a nice day we ate upstairs as downstairs was very quiet and had no windows as recommended by the waitress.

Service and food was very good only downside was a little expensive and the preferred starter for me and my son was not available (lobster bisque) noting we dined at 6:30pm and the restaurant was quite empty.

This is being completed by Paul Sullivan's PA:
Paul greatly enjoyed the atmosphere in Gow's and enjoyed a lovely relaxed meal in a friendly ambience. He commented that the food was of an excellent standard and greatly enjoyed the range of dishes on offer, notably the Crab Crumble (?), and that the service was first rate.
