The food was very average but the service, drinks and atmosphere were great. I ordered the sausage and mash and one of the three sausages was burnt. My partner ordered the lobster special, and it did not taste fresh. However, I will reiterate the service was good. And the cocktails were delicious (especially the dessert cocktail).

The service was great and food fantastic, even better than I thought. It was a little chilli in the conservatory, but the views made up for this.

We had a lovely dinner full of flaver we all had the special 10oz ribeye but I have to say it’s the smallest 10oz I have ever had and we all were in agreement on this, and I do know that it’s the weight before cooking

Amazing truffle mash. Best I’ve ever tasted. I took my family who were visiting from outside London - the view is fantastic for tourists!

Have been here a few times in the slightly distant past, and decided to revisit to sample the LRF menu. It has three options for starter and main course for the £21 menu, including prosecco or soft drink option, with an option for dessert if required. The service (by Karolis) was first rate, friendly, informal, efficient, accommodating and extremely relaxed - exactly what one wants for a good lunch. The smoked salmon starter along with the butternut squash soup were excellent - we ordered an extra side dish of very fresh from the oven baked bread (seeded, and focaccia type) which was superb. We both had beer battered haddock, chips with crushed peas - as good as anywhere I've ever tasted, and that includes the wonderful places in Cromer and the Golden Chippy in Greenwich. It was no surprise to see many other punters opting for this dish too, since word must have spread about how good it is. The whole experience was splendid, well worth travelling across London for. A bonus was having a table directly overlooking the river (Thames!) - usually available on a first come first served basis I think.
