Tasty food, in gourmet (small) portions. Quiet, relaxed neighbourhood ambience by the Thames. A restful break from London bustle.

Arrive for a Birthday celebration, ordered 3 Sunday roasts. I was impressed by warm bread, butter was served from fridge to not soft enough, served in fancy packaging but with bar codes on, not so " fancy ". Two sirloins and one lamb arrived, beef was cooked well but lacked flavour and seasoning and wasn't easy to slice despite a steak knife . Potatoes were crisp and good, Yorkshire pudding huge but lacked flavour, The gravy was thin and tasteless, very disappointing, let the whole meal down. I left very disappointed, would not go back!!

We arrived early and the restaurant manager was really helpful, giving us a table with a river view. The cocktails of the day, Raspberry and vodka, were both beautiful and tasty. The service was excellent throughout. The food was of the highest quality and so well prepared and served. The menu combinations were adventurous but worked really well. I had the goats cheese with apple and beetroot. Main courses and sides were all lovely. We had cocktails and wine with the meal and I was happy to pay a good price for the food and drinks, but I'd rather not have been charged for the tap water.

A warm welcome. Very friendly and efficient staff. Fantastic food. Especially enjoyed the chicken parfait. Have eaten here several times and it never disappoints .

No draft beers, and no first choice of our meals so not impressed. The food served however was excellent.

I have to say I was a little disappointed with the Narrow. I was expecting something exceptional - which is a must, given the prices - but it left me a little cold. The mussels were absolutely fine - but not special. The chicken breast felt a bit dry, though the accompanying vegetables were perfect. This would all be fine for an ordinarily-priced restaurant, but the prices require something more special.

Great location on Thames. Lovely views from dining room. Shame they didn't give us table by window though asked when booking. Deal menu good value if a bit limited. Red wine on offer with deal was awful. Able to have a taste first so went for white (OK) instead. Good service.
