Lovely afternoon tea, made special by a courtesy plate of chocolates for my wife's birthday. Greeted by charming staff and well looked after. Would recommend it.

I've been here for special occasions atleast 3 times now and I love it! The only negative comment I can leave is that the sandwich bread on some occasions isn't as fresh as you would expect but nevertheless, I always enjoy my visits, the staff are friendly and helpful and the food is great!

I am disappointed in that you state that no trainers are allowed, as you rightly say, you like to keep a certain ' standard '. It is a special place and yet you allow customers to come in flip flops and shorts. Also people with buggies and babies and young children. I appreciate that it is difficult for you and you don't want to offend but it takes the 'special experience ' away from the venue. You also have mixed gender toilets. Not a good idea, as I do not want to go into a toilet that is swimming in water around the toilet where men have obviously missed the toilet.

Shockingly insipid sandwiches and over creamy pastries. You pay for the view not the food. Surprised Shangri-La would go this way.. very disappointed

Very disappointed. The venue is amazing but the staff let them down. Def not worth the money. We waited 20 mins before we were even offered a drink. If it hadn't had been a special occasion, I would have left.

This was an amazing experience from start to finish. It was a friendship celebration and we all love the afternoon tea experience, and having it in the Shard with an incredible view of the skyline was just perfect. Our server was brilliant, checking in on us to ensure we had everything we needed, and brought additional tea and sandwiches when we asked for it. The presentation of the afternoon tea could not have been better. We all loved the experience and will definitely be back. I highly recommend it as a venue. Thank you.
