Setting new standards – The Goldfisch in Eppendorf in Hamburg is trying to shed new light on established culinary tradition. With a simple yet refined selection of dishes, the chef endeavours to help diners fully appreciate the flavour of the food and its distinctive aroma. On the evening menu you can find baked North Sea sole served with fresh spinach, as well as stewed black feather chicken served with beans and fresh herbs and a dark chocolate mousse with a cantaloupe melon confit. Lunches and business lunches also meet the highest standards with the highlight being the USDA prime beef steak, which undergoes so called “dry aging” in a specially built ripening room. This traditional setting offers a real sense of ambience, a sensual experience and last but not least a feast of culinary delights. The Goldfisch always has a range of culinary creations which never fail to show great attention to detail.
