Gola restaurant in Fulham offers rustic and flavoursome Italian cuisine. Cosy and welcoming, the warm interior features soft lighting and traditional decor, perfect for intimate dining.
There is a good selection of wine by the glass and the charming restaurant is adorned with large wine displays. The restaurant owner, Aaron, has a passion for innovative Italian food, blending traditional and modern ingredients. Unusual tasty dishes include tagliatelle with a rich, creamy sauce and a touch of ground coffee. Pasta is normally served in the pan at the table by the chef, and sometimes sharing dishes are uniquely presented in a hollowed-out Pecorino cheese wheel.
Using fresh, seasonal produce, the fine menu features Italian favourites with linguine alle vongole with clams and garlic or homemade lasagne with porcini mushrooms. There are hearty dishes like lamb shank with a Chianti sauce, pork belly with roast potatoes or sea bass with a potato crust and sundried tomato pesto.
Gola - Fulham offers superb Italian dining in a stylish setting. Parsons Green Tube Station is within easy reach.

I had to wait 15 long years in London to find an Italian place which would bring me back home - culinary speaking. Gola will seduce you with the most genuine ingredients and will make you wonder why you did not discover it earlier. This is food and wine chosen for you with passion and love: you will want to hugh the chef - literally. The service is outstanding, warm and professional. [@], the owner, has built a little jem which you will enjoy immensely. Top choice: [@]

If you want good italian and good service in a relaxed and friendly environment the DONT GO HERE. The owner [@] is rude and you will get better value and quality if you simply go elsewhere or make dinner at home.

Gola must definitely be one of my favourite Italian restaurants in London.I am Italian and sometimes I am disappointed to see how our food is treated abroad. Italian food is much more than "Spaghetti Bolognese", or "Fettuccini con Polpette".Italian food is inventive, flavoursome, well rounded and and often sophisticated, but never pretentious. Gola is all this! It is what I would expect to find in a top restaurant in Milan. If you are a real food lover, Aaron (the manager) will not disappoint you. He is not just the manager, he is a guy really passionate about food. Ask him to guide you through his menu and help you select the most appropriate wine to go with your meal. Oh yes, the wine! If the menu is great, wait to see the wine list. To my opinion it is a very careful selection of some of the best Italian wines. All this great food and wine can be enjoyed in a relaxed environment where it is easy to spend a whole evening without knowing where the time has gone. The service is informal and very friendly. At times it may be a bit slow, but as I said, this is what you would expect in a real good restaurant in Italy after all.The bill can be a bit expensive. For a whole meal with a good bottle of wine probably you should consider a budget over [$] per head, but hey, top quality food doesn't come cheap!I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the area!! Enjoy!
