The hotel was beautiful and the interior also. All the staff were friendly and polite with good knowledge of the food they were serving. It was our first tasting menu experience and even though the plates were small it was all so filling and delicious. It was expensive but was amazing so it would be nice for a special occasion.

A most enjoyable evening. We were well looked after, all their team were polite, helpful and very knowledgeable. Our meal was delicious. Altogether very good indeed.

Glazebrook is a beautiful country house in a lovely setting. On arrival we were made to feel welcome. The dining room is very tastefully decorated, modernised in a quirky way but still retaining the character of the house. I loved it. My partner and I went for lunch on Christmas Eve the food was excellent and very well presented although portion sizes small perfect for me though. There is a set menu available which has some good choices £20 for 3 courses which I think is very good value. The waiting staff and everyone we met were lovely and very friendly. I would recommend it and can't wait to go again.

We found the decor in the hotel to be very eclectic. As it was unusual we enquired about the history of the house from the owner who happily gave us details of the previous owners and about the interior designer. As to the meal itself, well that’s easy it was superb. Excellently served by pleasant staff the favours were beautiful. A favourite of my dining party was the lamb ragu. While I enjoyed the steak after the favoursome cauliflower soup with sourdough bread. What to choose from the dessert menu? Well I leave that treat for you to discover.

First lunch there for ages, and it was better than ever. New menu with several options but we chose traditional two courses and it was perfect. Their vegetables were beautiful and so generous, fish was just right.

Nice welcome from the owner. Would of thought drinks would of been brought to table on a tray not just gathered in hand and put on table. Also drinks should be taken to your dining table by the team on a tray much more professional.
We were shown to table would of been nice once there for water to be poured and wine offered to taste and pour but none of this. Up selling of drinks at table was to often and not needed.
Table far to close to fireplace was unable to sit collectly till I had moved table.
Food was enjoyed by both of us, well done Josh.
    Nice atmosphere,
    Very clean in all areas.
    Restroom very accomdating.
    Parking easy right outside.
    Thank you everyone.

This is one of those rare hotels that appears to be laid back and relaxed, and never fails to impress with it's professionalism!
The bar cocktails are really worth a try, and we have found the dinner menus always tantalising with the array of choices. I really enjoyed the steak fillet and my wife the really light fish and chips, both left enough room for a tantalising dessert.

Lovely family Sunday lunch. The pork loin was delicious as was the apple and blackberry crumble. Very pleasant surroundings and attentive, but not over, staff. Overall a very nice experience.
