Absolutely stunning. Cooking that delights all the senses, service and ambience to match. We booked a three course lunch and received 6! I particularly loved the crab soup aperitif accompaniment. The sweetbread/mushroom dish was sublime, the duck, the chocolate tart - all the best I’ve ever enjoyed. Service professional yet friendly. I can’t imagine a better lunch.

The staff was wonderful, friendly and attentive. I am vegan and this was no problem which I highly appreciate. Thoroughly delicious food, thank you all for making our 3rd anniversary a great one!

Excellent meal. Amuse bouche and pre dessert were superb. Very good quality gluten free bread and the first stage butter was amazing, a real revelation.

We went on the special Summer Treats menu of five courses and a glass of Champagne for only £49 per person. This was phenomenal value. Superb food and discrete , unobtrusive and skillful service. The madame serveuse and sommelier were particularly impressive. We started with the champagne on the terrace overlooking a lovely garden and had a table inside the restaurant with a similar view. We finished off with a refreshing walk through the grounds by the tingling river.
