Best fish I've ever eaten

George's Diner offers delicious seafood treats and carefully-chosen wines to Chiswick residents. Seafood oriental and lobster thermidor reign supreme on the menu and meat lovers can feast on a fillet steak, grilled chicken breast or duck with honey.

Nice family restaurant with elegant, romantic atmosphere. Delicious food and really big portions at attractive price. Good for business, romantic dinner and family meeting.

An absolute gem discovery. They have wonderful fresh fish cooked to perfection producing delicious flavours. Presentation and service are also faultless. I cannot say enough good things about this place. We even visited George in the kitchen and later in the evening he came out and sat with guests. The starters that we chose were all great, pancake filled with seafood, sizzling squid, sizzling crab and more. The whole wild Sea bass for two was outstanding with great presentation and full of flavours. I recommend this place highly.

We found the restaurant by pure chance and what a find. The service was amazing, the menu was exciting and the food exceeded our expectations, what more can you ask for. I would definately recommend this restaurant.

We booked at the last minute for an early evening mid-week table and were given a very pleasant window table. The service was pleasant and helpful, substituting what was, I think, a better sauvignon blanc than the one they had run out of. We did not have starters but went for the mixed grilled fish and chinese mixed fish. Both dishes were excellent. My brother had excellent chips and mixed vegetables, I had spinach and rice ..... my only food gripe, really, not quite enough rice to go with the very substantial portions of fish. The tarte tatin and crumble for dessert were both excellent. So, a good meal all round. Straightforward cooking, probably the best place to eat fish in our part of west London. Last gripe - the background music. Don't do it kids! It adds nothing to the ambience and really irritates anyone (like myself) who has strong musical preferences.

This seafood and fish restaurant is very good. The portions size are also very good. Good selection of wine too. We had a wonderful meal and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Staff were so friendly and the food was excellent - what more can you ask for from a restaurant.
Very comfortable interior, tables not squashed together and they've made the most of the available space.
We've recommended it highly to friends who have already made their booking.
An excellent restaurant and we will certainly be going back.
