Restaurant description

GBK Covent Garden is renowned for their extensive selection of burgers served at affordable prices. The restaurant's large windows bring is a airy feel and guests can enjoy an array of creative cocktails and drinks served at the bar.

Launched back in 2001 by 3 Kiwis, GBK offers a premium burger concept which sees over 10,000 burgers served up to its diners each day: always made fresh and cooked to order. Hand-crafted patties make up the varied GBK menu, with adventurous favourites including The Don and The Taxi Driver. Lamb, falafel and buffalo options mean even the most ardent burger buffs are catered for, and there's a lengthy list of fries and sides.

Salted caramel, peanut butter and banana are just some of the mind-meltingly good milkshakes at Gourmet Burger Kitchen, and thirst-quenching soft drinks are also served. Wines can be enjoyed by the glass, and there’s a good stock of cherry-picked international beers.

GBK in Covent Garden, London is right behind Vaudeville Theatre while Charing Cross Station is a 5-minute walk away.

3 of us met up for a meal before going to different theatres. The meal deal was very good value, especially being able to swap the bun for coleslaw. The food was very tasty and there was an interesting choice of soft drinks.

Food was lovely but experience was bad. Ordering via the app/at counter is trying to save time/staff but it was lengthier, and our order was incorrect when it came out. You have to pay when you order, meaning it is difficult to order additional drinks mid-meal. We didn’t bother and went somewhere else instead for more drinks.

We enjoyed the meal. The kids' menu is great value, 6.95 including a milkshake and great to offer corn on the cob, a firm favourite with my children and so much better for them than chips. The sweet potato fries were really good too.

sadly not, might as well have gone to McDonalds. Best feature the door to leave by. Staff just wanted the money, no selling involved and I for one really object to paying up front to even get a drink delivered while waiting for fellow diner to arrive

Service was good but when asked if we could add starters etc we where told that couldn't be done. Thought this to be a little odd to decline extra sales. Little flys hovering around too was annoying. But the veggie burger was very nice.
