Restaurant description

Brimming with Argentinean charm, Gaucho Piccadilly is housed in the old wine cellars of the Mexican ambassador. This expansive restaurant stretches over 4 floors, with an exclusive wine boutique in the original vaulted cellars.

Taking inspiration from vibrant South American culture, the Gaucho menu foregrounds a robust array of flavours. Fresh, natural ingredients are used to compile favourite dishes, like bream fillets with crispy ham and a fennel and orange salad, or the signature Gaucho burger with zesty chutney.

Within the splendour of the opulent dining room at Gaucho restaurant in Piccadilly, guests can enjoy a sophisticated wine or grappa sourced from Argentina. With a contemporary edginess, a mass of plush black leather and rich cowhide stools litter the dining room, all offset by the impressive glint of the chandeliers.

In a landmark area of the capital, Gaucho restaurant in London blends authentic customs with cosmopolitan luxury. Piccadilly Circus Tube Station is just a 5-minute walk away.

The food in this restaurant was incredible. My boyfriend said it was the best steak he had ever had the pleasure to eat. The overall dining experience was excellent.

Overall our restaurant experience was excellent, better than expected and will come back again. Specific comments below, a couple of minor comments to reflect one. Your reception area is ver dark, too dark. Your toilet is very small, too small. We felt rushed between courses, our table being cleared before one of my party had finished. The main meal delivered as last plate removed.

We had a great time at Gaucho. The service from all of the staff was very good, there was an extensive drinks menu including some amazing cocktails and the food was fantastic.

Excellent, it was my birthday and we went for the 3 courses and a glass of sparkling wine for £25 each. The ribeye steak was tasty and we had lots of chips to go around. Starter was delicious and the desert was extra special with a birthday plate with a candle. Lovely ambiance and decor, it was a Monday night so it wasn’t packed at all, i felt very special and perfect choice for my birthday dinner. Piccadilly has a nice outside area as well. Waiters were very helpfully and professional. Perfect!

The food was excellent and the service was great. The staff were enthusiastic and knowledgable but didn't try to make you buy extra items as some places do.

Lovely roast dinner. Good service, wasn’t offered another Yorkshire pudding and unsure if able to ask for more. Gravey dishes need to be bigger.

I wasn’t pleased with the service at all And the food was very average and the wine I ordered was vinegrated and the lemon tart was unbelievably bad I won’t ever visit there again
