Restaurant description

Cowhide-covered chairs, black leather walls and chandeliers add a chic flair to Gaucho Hampstead. Rare wines from Argentina, cocktails, and even cigars can be ordered from the bar. The outdoor barbeque and terrace feature an automatic canopy for unexpected weather.

Argentina is famed for its steaks, and the Gaucho Hampstead menu maintains this reputation. A variety of tender cuts are served, including picana. As well as gourmet burgers, a range of specialities include fillets of bream with crispy serano ham, and irresistible vegetarian options like ricotta and basil tortellini.

Gaucho London takes pride in its huge range of wines from Argentina, including rare bottles. Argentinean grappas and liqueurs from Mendoza sit alongside great beers and colourful cocktails. Meals can be finished in style with the cigar range and selection of Armagnacs and whiskies from the bar.

Argentinean flair and hospitality is served up at Gaucho in Hampstead, just a 1-minute walk from Hampstead Tube Station.

It put me off when I saw they allowed dogs inside.

The decor was very lovely and the layout was nice too. The rump steak was true to size but my partner ordered the ribeye which was smaller then we expected. We were celebrating my partner getting a new job and they bought out his dessert with congratulations which was lovely of them. We used the bookatable menu which was excellent value for money at £23 each for a 3 course and champagne

I was a little disappointed as I’ve been to Gaucho in O2 and Hampstead was underwhelming. The staff are amazing but restaurant was a bit shabby and food was average

Attentive staff, decent wine list (if you are a fan of the New World's wines, specifically South American!), well prepared and tasty food. One must not miss the Baked Provoleta as starter! The Lomo and the Sirloin were particulaly delicious and a bit better than the Ancho that was not bad at all. The Fries and the sauces were spot on and we had Churros for desert. What a perfect pudding! On Sundays the restaurant is pet friendly so if you are not a dog lover you should try it on another day of the week. The Set Menu provides very good value for money!
