Very pleasant experience, good service, unrushed. Directly opposite Duke of York theatre. Remember to ask about allergies.. they do some interesting combinations and in my case I missed they would have dressed the rice salad in orange juice... thus I know their bathrooms are pretty good.

Food was good value for the price - we had the £7.95 lunch deal + £2 for dessert. Portions were a good size.
Service was a bit slow, but as we were waiting to go to the theatre we had enough time.

It was poor. We booked table but it was quiet. The waitress wasn't interested in us at all, and found it a hassle when we asked to not be seated by the open door. She handed us menus and we picked drinks. Eventually she came to take our drinks orders, at that point we asked for a children's menu. She was a bit unwilling but did get one. We then saw that certain drinks are included in the kids meal price, but we hadn't ordered the right one as we didn't have the menu. We wanted to order sausage, mash and vegetables for our daughter, but they had no vegetables left at all, and when we asked for gravy, the waitress appeared to be shocked at this request. When it came it was 1 sausage and a small lump of mash. That's it... For a menu which is meant to do up ages 10 this is really really bad ( my daughter is 7) I had pizza which was cold and my husband had spag Bol which was warm at best. When the bill came we were charged full price for kids meal, even though there were no vegetables, we didn't have a drink from the menu and no dessert. The one good thing was the milkshakes. They were tasty. Overal a very bad experience of both service and food! There are so many other restaurants in a 2 min walk, you should pick one of them.

St martins lane, near Trafalgar Square London
Awful experience - several people left as it took so long to serve them. We waited over an hour for dreadful food. Having asked several times where it was.
We left before our desserts arrived as we didn't have time to stay and wait another hour for a scoop of ice cream
Even the bill took 15 mins to be provided once requested (so we could leave)

Very good service, great location. The food was reasonably priced, there was lots of choice and the portion sizes were generous.

In spite of being kept waiting 10 minutes for a table due to previous diners not vacating a table the whole experience was very good
