Delicious fresh ingredients combined into beautiful dishes. Had Taste of Summer menu - one normal and one vegetarian- and was superb meal. Customer service was first class; felt valued as a customer.

We have visited other Galvin resturants in London and they are excellent. Galvin HOP was a different experience. The food as expected was excellent, however the environment is awful. The noise level from the piped in music was so loud that we could not hold a conversation. Eventually we asked one of the waitresses to turn down the volume, which I am pleased to say they did. She did explain this was a "young person's pub" except there were no young people in the place!! I think the Galvin's do have a problem with the definition of a pub, which this definately is not, its a restaurant with loud music.

The snails were the redeeming feature in an otherwise average dining experience

Food was good and the hot dog something different to usual hot dogs, sides were very good. Wine was average, would have expected higher quality. Service also could have been better - wine was just put on table, waitress seemed a bit distant.

The food was very good and the staff were really friendly and helpful but the music was too loud. We also had to ask to move to a different table as the cigarette smoke and cold air came in from the outdoor smoking area every time anyone went in/out (which was frequently).

Excellent quality food with generous portions, the service was friendly and there was a nice relaxed atmosphere. Definately worth a return visit.
