Galvin Bistrot & Bar (former Galvin HOP) is inspired by the Galvin brothers’ passion for French bistrots and bars à vins.
Created by Chris and Jeff Galvin, the Galvin Bistrot & Bar menu is packed with carefully sourced ingredients, and champions great provenance. Modern classic dishes are created using a wood-fired oven and open grills, whilst the charcuterie counter serves artisanal cured meat with farmhouse cheeses.
Brewery-fresh Czech Pilsner is housed in copper tanks above the bar, whilst delicious cocktails are served alongside a cutting-edge wine system serving boutique and delicious wines on tap as well as a selection of wines by the bottle.
The laidback little sister of Michelin-starred Galvin La Chapelle set just next door, Galvin Bistrot & Bar in London is a 4-minute walk from Liverpool Street Station.

The restaurant was fantastic! Settings and food were fabulous. We went for the bottomless brunch, Prosecco was left in an ice bucket at the table, they whole experience was wonderful.

Delicious fresh ingredients combined into beautiful dishes. Had Taste of Summer menu - one normal and one vegetarian- and was superb meal. Customer service was first class; felt valued as a customer.

It was my birthday, we booked for 7pm and were shown straight to out table by a number of smiling, welcoming staff. On this occasion, a group of four young men were standing drinking nearby and I was beginning to worry they'd stay all night (I have a mild loss of hearing and bare floors, glass windows and large spaces plus loud conversations nearby are hellish!) and the waitress understood perfectly and moved us to a newly vacated alcove where we were very comfortable! We had booked the set menu but preferred the a la carte selections. The asparagus starter was divine and the trout! Crispiest skin, perfectly cooked fish, served with peas and pea sprouts I still dream about. The purple flowering brocolli we chose to go with it was beautiful. Highly recommendd: Service, hot, beautiful food and buzzy ambience. Perfect!
