Fantastic food by far the best locally

Excellent in every respect!! Lovely staff and even better food. Three of us dined at lunchtime, and we shall be back. Thank you, and keep up the good work. Our only problem, which you may be able to do something about, is the access road which leads in from the motorway area. There are many muck lorries that are covering the lane with mud, slush and loose stones. This is dangerous and unsightly. In the dark unlit lane, it would have been extremely dangerous. Worth getting onto the local authority as the contractors are legall bound to keep clearing this sort of debris caused by their operators and traffic.

The staff were excellent, from the desk at the entrance to the waiting staff, and when queried either knew the answers or sought them out. The highlight was the mashed potato! This was our first experience in the dark and we used the fixed price menu. We will be returning to test the main menu and to get a better flavour of the site.

The food wes great. The ambiance and decor was very nice. The service was good but a few minor points.... We were not asked if we wanted a drink when we arrived. We asked for bread with the soup which took too long to come with no explaination of why the delay - the desert was requested too quickly. Would have been nice to ask if we wanted a bit of a break. The petit fours were forgotten with the basketball. So good but service could have been slicker. Nice touch though the mature de held up an umbrella to the taxi as it was raining

Food and Service was excellent. It is pricey but it is the high end cuisine that is befitting the Galvin name

Service really was first class, plenty of very senior staff on hand to make sure it ran like clockwork. Food was excellent, not the largest menu but plenty of variety and all done very well. Pricing seems right for an out of London venue
