I took a colleague friend here for her birthday lunch and it was a fantastic experience. From the moment we entered until we left (2 hours later!) we enjoyed excellent and friendly service, excellent food and wine. As a mother I noted there seemed to be a side room for families (a plus for any restaurant) although we ate in the main dining room enjoying the views of Duke of York Square. Will definitely return!

Lunchtime Great staff - our waitress was particularly efficient and friendly, a native Brit for a change

Table for 4 at 8pm last Thursday. Wonderful fish and chips, well presented. Good white wine served nicely chilled. Offered tap water at no cost. Extremely good service, waitress chatty and informative, made us feel welcome. Definitely go again.

Enjoyed a great meal with a colleague after work. I had the Roasted Scottish sea trout and my colleague had the Suffolk free range pork belly - both looked and tasted superb and were complimented by a great bottle of Beaujolais. The service was prompt but the waitress looked a little untidy around the edges. It would be nice to come back on a warm evening and sit outside.

Enjoyed a delicious afternoon high tea yesterday after taking advantage of their offer. Freshly baked scones and home made jams were amazing, all washed down with a lovely glass of fizz! Tiny sandwiches were perfect for sharing. Would recommend this place to artsie types and those looking for something special.

Lovely looking restaurant by the Saatchi Gallery. But such a poor meal - we waited for ages for 1st course and an eternity for 2nd. We weren't offered any bread at all at any time and got so hungry waiting for 2nd course that asked for some then. Dishes poor, not seasoned, rather vile slimey noodles with 'sticky beef' salad inedible, wine in chiller - not chilled. Waitress lovely and apologetic - but generally - don't bother.
