Lovely restaurant with helpful, friendly staff. Amazing food, every dish beautifully presented. We will be visiting again.

This restaurant is a little gem in London city. It's small and cosy, and they offer a traditional japanese cuisine, not like all these internationalised sushi places.
The staff is very kind, and the food is really good. One of my favourite things was the Lychee sake and the mango sorbet!

This is a proper Japanese restaurant, it’s simple elegant and functional. The food is terrific and range of Saki excellent. This is enhanced by staff who are happy to help the novice Japanese eater like us as well as the many Japanese speaking customers.

Very unique and different eating out experience.
Food was great, although had to wait 10 minutes for 2 of 5 orders to come out. Not a huge issue for me, but could be for some.
    Staff were friendly.

I must say, I was very disappointed with this restaurant.

We had booked a table for 7pm but arrived early at 6:30pm & was asked if we had booked. we said yes. they didn't check our names or asked what time - just quickly rushed us, only to be kicked out of the table because the 6:30pm people were behind us.
this wasn't so much of a problem, we were quite happy to wait either way, which we did at the bar.

We eventually sat at a table and told the waitress that my friend was severely allergic to peanuts and sesame seeds. we asked what oil did they cook each dish we wanted to order, in. this young waitress gave us no impression she didn't understand us, and said she'd check in the kitchen as she took our orders. The first dish arrived and the waiter had not come back to let us know, so we asked her again to let us know. the first dish was fine. When the second dish came, we asked the waiter again, which she said was safe to eat, this happened whilst my allergic friend was about to dip into the soy sauce where the waitress said that the soy sauce had Sesame in and was not suitable for her to eat (luckily she didn't in time).
The last dish, soft shell crabs on a roll, came with a brown-looking sauce, I smelt it, but was almost certain it was sesame sauce. my friend was about to eat it when I told her not to.
I asked for the manager this time and she confirmed the sauce was sesame, so I said we couldn't have this, and we got an attitude from the manager, asking if we notified her staff of this. This was very frustrating, because we did, right from the beginning. She took the dish back and brought the a new one, only this time it was cold and horrible.

We were charged for this dish, as well as service charge. The waiters are not attentive or very well trained. The quality of the food is not good for the price you pay here - too expensive for what you get. We spend over £80 for 2 people, and received the worst service and basic food.
Will not come back or recommend.

A tranquil oasis of great quality authentic Japanese food at reasonable prices. A gem! My toddler simply adores the kabocha, and the gyoza were delicious thin parcels without grease.

I had a fantastic dinner at Fushan. It was my birthday with a table of 8 people, and they had decorated our own booth with loads of happy birthday balloons and banners, it was so so cute! And we had a waiter pretty much to ourselves, service was brilliant, and the food was delicious and very quick! We tried most of the veggie starters and they were all delicious - especially the gyoza and yasai croquettes - all the batter was light and crispy, fillings flavoursome and generous, and a really interesting menu even for the veggies in our group. I had a brilliant evening and would definitely recommend it!
