Just not going enough! The restaurant was far from full with just two tables of larger parties and my husband and I totalling about 30 people. We ordered our starters and after 35 minutes of waiting they arrived! The stuffed potato’s were not stuff they had hardly any filling in them, the garlic ciabatta was burnt on the bottom. The chicken bites there was only two of on a sharing platter for four people and when I asked the waiter he said he would ask the chef and never came back.we hadn’t even finished our starter and our mains came out. Mine was ok but then you can’t really get a carbonara wrong, my husbands steak was cooked how he asked however had that much fat and grissle in the already tiny piece it made it inedible. Butterfly chicken was dry, chicken wings were burnt and so were the chips! Before we had finished our meals the bill was placed on the table, the waiter then sort of danced around surrounding tables with absolutely no reason to as they were empty! My husband and I were getting our card out in order to pay except the waiter already knew that and was poised awaiting payment with card machine in hand! No questions asked about our meal just told us the price and put card machine back and walked away! Very rude! What really annoyed me the female front of house was in and out of the kitchen helping the 3 chefs that were already there! Food hygiene, Heath and safety! Sure 3 chefs could manage the dwindling number they had to cook for! Ambience? What? The staff proceeded to put up to date dance music on and leave the traditional f and b’s music in the past! Shame! The friars walk branch closed and I don’t think this one is going to be around much longer if the service, attitude, food and hygiene standards don’t pick up soon! Really disappointed as when it first opened Frankie and bennys was a lovely meal out! But now it’s unsatisfactory and still carries the rather large price tag.

Very friendly yet professional staff, efficient service. My 2 young children were a tad excited but the staff were patient and engaged with them as well :-)

Might consider not giving scolding hot dishes to customers .. lasagne dish was like larva and given to a youngster. 2 blistered fingers later the food was on the plate. Food and service otherwise was great

Our experience was 100%. Especially as we were looked after by Tim who was so efficient at his job. He looked after us every step of our meal. He was exceptionally good with my two grandchildren. He deserves an award.

Cannot fault the staff very friendly and helpful we all enjoyed our time here although my steak wasn't well done like asked, still very red inside, but would like to say a huge thank you for making my daughters birthday a happy one.

The girl serving us was very busy so it took 20minutes to come back with our bill, I know it's not her fault but when u have to under 5s it's a it of a nightmare. I had waffles for dessert which were definitely over cooked and not edible
