Frankie & Benny's Clarkes Village is a bright and contemporary restaurant at this designer outlet shopping centre. Freshly-shaken cocktails are served at the bar and the mood is upbeat with peppy music from the 50s filling the air.

The Frankie & Benny’s menu offers a tasty range of New York Italian classics. Legendary burgers include the juicy Brooklyn beef burger, loaded high with smoky barbecue pulled beef, and the Manhattan waffle burger topped with a sweet American waffle and drizzled with smoky barbecue sauce. There’s also a wide range of pizzas and pastas, including the fully loaded mac ‘n’ cheese calzone, delicious Roman smoky pizza and signature F&B meatballs.

Enjoy a stateside-style breakfast, with all-American pancakes topped with bacon and syrup served with freshly ground coffee. A host of drinks are mixed at the bottle-lined bar, offering classic cocktails, world wines, and fresh milkshakes churned with your favourite ice cream flavour.

Frankie & Benny's in Clarkes Village is just a 4-minute drive from the A39.

Sadly waitress didn't seem to be aware of us when we were seated and we had to chase her to give our order. Meals took a long time to arrive and ribs arrived with no bbq sauce. This was returned to kitchen, the same meal was returned (I know it was the same meal as had eaten one of the ribs before returning) but without the sweetcorn! The waitress dropped a knife on the floor which she then just left there.

Manager came over and handled our complaints well.

Food was good especially my burger! Kids had a pizza which for a 5 year old was huge, the 7 year old had spaghetti which she loved. My partner enjoyed his steak but commented it would have been nice to have had peas with it! Service was excellent as usual as visit usually every week.

Really pleased with the food it was very tasty enjoyed by everybody except the pizza which was quite greesy, relaxed nice atmosphere with good music. Love the birthday tunes played as it was my daughter's 18th birthday he did catch us by surprise bringing her came out half way through our desserts so we were not camera ready

Well we ordered a sharing starter between us. We were all still eating it when the waitress came and took the platter away and came back with our main course. We were all still using our side plates so nothing had been cleared off the table before the mains arrived. So bit chaotic. My chips were cold but the waitress did get them changed for me. The waitress was not smiley or happy and you could not hear what she was saying as she was so quiet. Overall the food seemed ok but not value for money - quite expensive really as our bill came to almost £159 for 6 adults and 1 child. Had coffee and mini dessert - the lemon tart with it was only about one mouthful.
