Another excellent meal at the Fox & Goose. The Tasting Menu continues to impress with its quality of ingredients, excellent cooking and friendly and efficient service.

Set in the charming village of Fressingfield in Suffolk, The Fox & Goose restaurant showcases traditional-meets-modern cuisine. This 2 AA Rosette-holding restaurant is featured in both the Michelin and Harden's food guides.
Starters on the Fox & Goose menu might include smoked duck breast with pickled winter vegetables, whilst the wild sea bass with scallop mousse with sherry caramel and Parmesan crumble is a must-try main course.
A mouth-watering array of desserts follow, among which the chocolate and peanut butter mousse with popcorn, salted caramel and caramelised white chocolate sorbet is a favourite. This Grade II-listed setting also features an impressive al fresco area, shaded by the neighbouring greenery.
Featuring a tasting menu and a prized Sunday lunch offering, The Fox & Goose is a diverse dining spot. Bosting many original features, this former guildhall has stood on the site since 1509.

A fantastic evening was had by all. We love the team who work here they are always so welcoming and friendly. The chefs backstage always produce fantastic food. I have eaten here a number of times over the years and have never had a bad meal. Keep up the good work guys.

We know this one well. Have been theremany times. This was well up to the usual high standard. A good choice of excellent dishes imaginatively cooked and served with style and courtesy. Good wine, though the list is not long. Good value. Altogether the best in the area.

Lovely setting and a beautiful pub, tastefully ‘modernised’! Service was done with a smile. Had an issue with the beer, but quickly rectified. However food was delicious, the warm rolls and homemade sweets a surprise treat!

Always have had a fabulous dining experience here.A few surprising glitches though on this occasion...rolls not served so had to ask for them, the hake over cooked with greasy skin not crispy, lemon posset was served with some rather sloppy fruits on top which turned into a bit of a mess( posset normally served separately to fruits with biscuit of some type), treacle tart was served with blackberries instead of apricots as stated on menu...no explanation, service rather slow. Not up to usual standard but maybe just an off day,Have booked up for Christmas so hopefully will be better.

The food, service and ambience was excellent as always. Such a pleasant place to celebrate our golden wedding anniversary. It's a bit of distance to get to the restaurant from our home, but is seriously worth the journey. Thank you all.
