    Fantastisk flott restaurant! God mat og god service. Utsikten og lokalene er en opplevelse i seg selv!

    Alt i alt hadde vi en fin opplevelse.
    Litt kluss i begynnelsen da jeg hadde booket for to men de hadde registrert for 4. I tillegg fikk vi aldri noe vinmeny, og fikk den først etter ca 20 min da vi hadde spurt et par ganger etter den. Spurte om vann i samme slengen som aldri kom. Først etter ca 45 min, etter at folk som hadde kommet etter oss hadde fått forrett og akkurat begynt på hovedretten nesten fikk vi forretten våres, og måtte på nytt spørre etter vann.
    Hovedretten kom litt raskt etter forretten også. Utenom det var maten veldig god og vi fikk etter hvert en fast servitør til bordet vårt som fikk litt kontroll utover kvelden:-)

    We enjoyed the soup starter, my wife enjoyed the salmon however my catch of the day (Hake) was very small with a minimum of vegetables and very very disappointing. I was looking forward to this meal at a very good location but left very disappointed :-(

    Thanks to a terrific server (serving heaps of warm smiles and pleasant discussion throughout our gustatory sojourn), incredible views, and an outstanding chef, my spouse and I enjoyed a fantastic 50th Anniversary dinner of whole baked trout! Oh, and the rhubarb soup dessert was magnificent! The fish were cooked to perfection, too.

    Bestilte medium entrecote, den var gjennomstekt.
    Vinen ble ikke åpnet ved bordet, men flasken ble brakt åpnet til bordet, pommes frites ble forsinket og den øvrige maten ble kald før vi fikk den servert.
    Et dårlig måltid til en alt for høy pris!

    Very disappointing food, but amazing view - even on a rainy day.

    Firstly, I arrived early for my booking, and ordered immediately because I'd checked the menu online, only to be told they were out of lobster. I find this unacceptable considering I've had a booking for nearly a month.

    I had the duck to start (which was 3 bites of cold overlooked duck and a heap of fig compote.) All I could taste was fig, with a slightly stale brioche bun.

    Because of the lack of lobster, I requested a starter sized portion of the halibut. (I was still charged the main course price!). The sauce was actually unpleasant- though I hate to say that about food. The fish itself was of good quality.

    The tastiest thing I had was the asparagus...though even this could have done with some more seasoning.

    For the price, I was expecting a quality dinner. But even if this had been half the price, I would have still been disappointed!

    Ordinarily I would enjoy a view with a tea or coffee, but on this occasion I couldn't wait to get out of there.

    Staff were friendly. They knew I was disappointed.

    I would recommend popping in for a drink after walking up to the viewing area (which is stunning). But certainly nothing more.
