The restaurant and adjacent cafe were very calm it being Sunday, and we were well looked after by the staff who seem to be mainly young Italians and to really know their stuff when it comes to Pizza, Arancini, Prosecco and similar! Food was excellent and we will certainly be back, the location is very convenient for Sadlers Wells.

Staff were too eager; three different waitresses asked for our food order within the first few minutes (before we'd even ordered drinks) and we felt very rushed. The first course (a salad) hadn't been dressed or seasoned, it was just a collection of ingredients in a bowl. The pizza was good. However, when they cleared our table I asked if the quarter I hadn't eaten could be boxed up for takeaway - they cheerfully agreed but once I'd paid, they admitted they'd thrown it away.

Atmosphere was great, the service was great. Pizzas were fantastic! Non pizza dishes weren't so great. The prawn dish was not good.

Had three pizzas and a garlic bread between the three of us. Mine was a margherita and was very tasty - although there was very little cheese, which I wasn't expecting, this didn't hinder my enjoyment. The garlic bread was quite nicely done - possibly slightly over galicy for us, and a touch dry, but still tasty. We added chili oil. My friend has a pizza with (lamb?) sausage that I tried and was excellent. The only slight negative (which to be honest I'm just chalking up to opening night jankiness) was that the plates of myself and a friend were cleared away when my third friend hadn't finished eating, which creates a rushed atmosphere (we'd not been there more than 40m). Then, worse, the waitress asked if she could take the plate he was currently eating from! This left him eating pizza with no plate. Obviously we could have said no etc but were so surprised we failed to. Not a big deal, but something that should maybe be avoided if possible. Still had a lovely time!
