I booked a pre-theatre dinner which was very good value and quality. Initial drinks order too a long time to come to the table and i thought the drinks menu choices were disappointing. Food was nice though.

I booked a pre-theatre 2 course meal for myself & my daughter. The wait for our food was frustratingly long, even though there were only 2 occupied tables when we arrived, and it wasn't particularly good. There were lemon pips in my rather runny Lemon Posset. Also, we thought the cucumber in our jug of water was a bit strange.

Have eaten here numerous times and heard had been updated but unfortunately won’t be returning. Cocktail bar ok and waiter very helpful in choosing a wine. Restaurant staff fine but choice and style of food very disappointing. More like a slighter posher pub food instead of a fine dining experience as it used to be. A starter of six small pieces of slightly rubbery squid just not on the same level as previously. Very disappointing. The fish portion was very small and served with french fries and tartar sauce. Could have got better at a pub but that’s not what we booked the restaurant for!!!!!!!!

Lovely decor and views albeit of a busy roundabout. Attentive service by the staff. The food was well presented and tasty. We had the pre-theatre menu with the burger. We also had wine - we found the wine prices extortionate even for hotel prices - £18 for 500ml! These need reviewing I believe with to maybe offer a more reasonable alternative but still a decent quality.

I went with a few friends for drinks and a pre-theatre meal. The menu had a good variety of choices and was very reasonably priced. The food was nicely presented, fresh, and very tasty. Service was very perfect too. I'd definitely recommend this to others.

Booked online as a present there menu and was told when booking online that it would be £20 per head. When we turned up we were told it was £23 for two courses or £27 for three courses. For the food we ended up having to pay a total of £58.50 for two for the three course pre theatre meal so a lot more than the £40 I was expecting when I booked.

The food was very good and the meal was thoroughly enjoyable, only tainted by the dishonest pricing. I wouldn't mind paying this amount if you had been honest about it upfront.

Very disappointed that this company feels the need to also embrace the era of alternative facts with its advertised prices.

I had 4 guests with me and we agreed that the food was average. The most shocking thing was witnessing a mouse running around the restaurant floor.. this did not fill us with confidence regarding the hygiene of the kitchen

It was an awful experience. The staff was not professional at all, from this kind of restaurant you expect to receive the service from.expert waiters instead there were 2 very young waiters without any experience at all and not able to do their job.
I went with my family in this restaurant, we pay a lot of money and it wasn't worth at all. I can only say that the food was good but that 's all.

A warm, polite welcome awaited us and efficient service in a relaxed and spacious environment. Perfect for a pre theatre dinner, which is what we were doing.
