The food was some of the best we've eaten! Definitely the best chinese i've had in a very long time. This was reflected in the price, but given the location, the food etc it was definitely worth it! We left very satisfied!

A floating Chinese restaurant, The Feng Shang Princess is surrounded by the splendour of London's Regents Park at the Cumberland Basin.

Magnificently hand-crafted in the 1980's, The Feng Shang Princess was the first floating restaurant of its kind in London. Over the years it has been the favourite Chinese eatery for many people, including celebrities from the worlds of film, music and TV.

Proprietor Karen Chua creates a special ambience for her customers. She is always on-hand to ensure that you enjoy fine Chinese delicacies combined with exceptional service. The speciality dishes include Vegetarian Crispy Duck - served with pancakes; spring onions; cucumber and plum sauce - as well as Lobster prepared in a variety of distinct flavours, and Crispy Peking Duck (24 hours notice required).

Although the restaurant looks fantastic from outside the inside could be any chinese anywhere. We were given a table downstairs - definitely ask to be upstairs.

Overall, good. Nice setting, tasty food, good service, but quite expensive.

Lunching here on either a sunny day (or a rainy afternoon) can't be beat! Watching the people walking to the zoo while enjoying best duck egg roll starter in town! Main courses are tasty, freshly prepared and are excellently presented at the table. Sauces (like lemon chicken) served on the side so you can enjoy the taste of the main ingredient so much better.

What a brilliant venue. Photos on web site over egg a little the views of the canal but who cares when the food was so fabulous and the attentive service so great. Why had we not been there before we don't know. It was a fantastic outcome to my good lady's special birthday.

Early Evening Quality of the food was generally very good Did not really like the Deep Fried Pancakes as I found them fatty although they did stop us from overeating pancakes and duck. and spoiling the rest of the meal which is a tendency eating Chinese banquet style.

Excellent food and good value for money. It is a pity that they don't serve dim sum though.
