Restaurant description

On level 37 of London’s Sky Garden, Fenchurch Restaurant pairs contemporary British cuisines with panoramic views. Beneath the stunning glass roof, diners can look down onto the bustle of the Sky Garden, as well as take in the jaw-dropping views of the city.

The Fenchurch Restaurant menu begins with inventive starters like smoked Lincolnshire eel with red cabbage, horseradish and taramasalata, or rabbit bolognaise with cheese, mustard and sourdough. Main dishes are equally rich in flavour, and include loin and sausage of venison with parsnip, pear and pickled cranberries, white truffle linguini with shallots and whey, and Cornish halibut with grapes, bone marrow and purple sprouting broccoli.

Round off a meal with the likes of chocolate marquise with mango and mint ice cream, or apple tart with salted caramel ice cream and warm Calvados custard. The Fenchurch Restaurant at the Sky Garden is also home to a sweeping brushed-metal bar, serving an impressive range of fine wines and cocktails.

Atop the iconic 'Walkie-Talkie' building in the City, Fenchurch Restaurant is a 4-minute walk from Monument Tube Station.

One would think that the views of London would be the finest asset this restaurant has to offer. But that would be a wrong assumption! My husband and I, along with our granddaughter had lunch in this restaurant on December 17th, 2018 to celebrate my husband's 76th birthday. It was one of the nicest experiences we've ever had!!! The food was superb and the service so warm and knowledgeable that we've selected Fenchurch Restaurant as our very favorite in London. Mr. Marco Aglieri was our main contact during lunch and his professional attention to detail was beyond belief. He answered our many food questions and advised us of the perfect wine in a manner that will bring us back many, many times. A special thanks to Marco!!!

The three course lunchtime menu is very good value and includes a glass of champagne. The setting is stunning and makes for a special atmosphere. The staff were very attentive and efficient. Although a limited menu in choice, this actually helped our decisions on what to have. All dishes were exceptional and portion size in keeping with the quality food. We both left comfortably full. With a final walk around the wonderful gardens we were disappointed to leave.

We only visited this restaurant because of it's location on the 37th floor of the Fenchurch building. The views are stunning and the garden layout on the 35th floor is unbelievable. The restaurant menu was a bit limited for choice unless you liked seafood as a dish. It is an extremely expensive menu but as expected the quality of the food was excellent. For 'normal' people like us it was a once in a life experience which will be hard to beat.

Great service from a warm and wonderful staff! Good drinks as well. The glazed duck was excellent and my partner loved both of our desserts (mille feuille and banana yogurt).

I booked for the view but found the service and food very good indeed. We chose from the prix fix menu and were delighted with each course. I had requested a window seat because it was my partner's birthday and they brought him a little birthday treat at the end.

Great interior with the garden around and unbelievable view on the city, unique atmosphere, very nice and helpful staff, delicious food with proper variety. Fantastic place as well for business as for romantic dinner.

Was not blown at all. This was supposed to be dining at its finest. Good presentation but the flavors very basic and in fact excessively salty. I could not finish eating the fish as at some point it became unbearable. When I mentioned it to the floor manager he didn’t seem sure what to do about and just said: “ok, hm, ok”. Only the desert was good. In summary even the £45 deal seems over the top and I would not recommend.
