FIRST CAME TO FAULKNERS IN 1997, AND THE FISH WAS ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL. WE WOULD TRAVEL FROM KENT TO EAT THERE, AND NEVER DISAPPOINTED. BUT THEN IT WAS SOLD, AND IT HAS NEVER BEEN AS GOOD. BUT I LOOKED ONLINE AND SAW THAT THE ORIGINAL OWNERS WERE BACK IN CHARGE, AND SO TRIED IT AGAIN, BUT THEY ARE NOT THE OWNERS OF 1997, AND THE FISH ALTHOUGH OK, IT WAS NOTHING SPECIAL. WHEN WE USED TO COME IN THE PAST, THE PLACE WAS FULL, ON OUR VISIT THIS WEEK, WE WERE THE ONLY CUSTOMERS. I THINK THAT SUMS UP FAULKNERS TODAY. NOT GOOD ENOUGH, IF IT REVERTED BACK TO ORIGINAL FISH, I WOULD CERTAINLY RETURN, BUT I CAN GET 'NORMAL FISH AND CHIPS' LOCAL.
