Ordered the grilled platter and loved it!! Wasn’t too over the top and the food tasted great especially the mussels, staff were extremely friendly and so helpful even apologising that our food took 15 minutes which I was shocked by considering most restaurants I’m waiting 25 anyway! Absolutely perfect little venue and would highly recommend

Fancy Crab lacked the finishing touch! Booked for a birthday treat, met on the door with attitude and service didn’t improve much. No one took our coats. Food was good though and one waiter was friendly and made some great recommendations. I’d made two simple requests when booking. A nice table and a candle in the dessert. They did neither. They advertise a 10% discount for birthdays but didn’t take it off the bill. I queried this and got £20 off (not even close to 10%) but they did then put a candle in some refrozen Ice cream. I gave up on challenging the bill a second time. Overall the food is pretty good here. However you can do a lot better then going to Fancy Crab.

Food was greasy. Not much crab on menu. Half Lobster not easy to eat. Too expensive.

Customer Service wasn’t great- once we finished our food we were ignored, not offered desserts or more drinks - the 12% is not justifiable. Food was ok but portions were quite small. Something different but wouldn’t visit again

What to say about the Fancy Crab! An amazing ambience with lovely decor. Incredibly friendly service, and a location that is covenient for all. We met Luis, one of the managers of Fancy Crab, who was warming, inviting and knowledgeable. He created an amazing setting that made us all feel comfortable and engaged. The food was wonderful. Classic seafood recipes with an interesting spin. The jersey rock oysters, scallop ceviche, salmon tartar and sirloin steak were big hits that left a desirable and awakened taste on the palate. A must go for any seafood enthusiast, or someone that enjoys a fun and atmospheric setting.

Albeit my party and I arrived 15 minutes late, the table was prepared on arrival despite the restaurant not being full. The small plates of bon bons and squid was okay but very bland in taste. The mains of crab linguine and singapore chilli crab was just standard - disappointed that the chill crab came in shell which was inconvenient and this was not explained upon ordering. There were also no condiments on the table and had to be requested. We were approached by various waitresses and waiters asking if we were okay but this is as far as service and to be charged a service of 12.5% I find quite extraordinary. The party and I agreed we would not be rushing back anytime soon.

I go to fancy crab often but this last visit I must say I didn’t enjoy as much as previous visits.

Food was not great. Quite disappointed at the quality of the food. Drinks presentation was basic for the price paid. Generally overpriced for quality and what you get. Then only positive is the service and friendly waiter.
2-course lunch £16 and 3-course lunch £19 per person (special menu, inc. drink)
Only until the end of January when ordering a whole Red King Crab one kilo is for £69 instead of £99
