Staff friendly and food was ok. No atmosphere to make it Christmas, no cutlery on table. It was just ok. I wanted a better experience than just ... Ok.

We received lovely customer service by the lady that we got served by and the chef (had to ask for special dietary ingredients). The food was good as was the environment. Would book there again.

Excellent dining in the Emperors Grill. My 5 year old loved every course he ordered off the children's menu, and the staff were very flexible to his eating preferences. Steak was excellent quality and perfectly cooked to request. Dairy allergy was accomodated without compromising on standards. All staff polite, friendly and helpful. Food quality ingredients and excellent value for money. Recommended experience.

The restaurant was very nice clean tidy and formal whilst being relaxed and informal at the same time. I am a master chef of great Britain and a master craftsman with the craft guild of chefs. The menu was Well thought out and offered a good selection. I enjoyed the wild mushroom and duck starter and my t bone was although a little more cooked than what I asked for very tasty and we'll presented although I do not like eating meat from a slate especially with a sauce which was not a generous portion but just enough. My most memorable part of the meal was the young waiter that served myself and my 2 children he was nothing but professional attentive without being over baring nothing was too much trouble. The thing is I can't remember his name but I would like for him to be recognised.anyway well done to all concerned also staff in general in the hotel were very good Stephen Harrison MCGB master cgc Director Glorious @Ltd 07557374639 www.gloriouscatering.co.uk

Great food, lovely comfortable chairs and big table , clean cutlery. Drinks took far to long to arrive (even a jug of water) but waitress resolved and removed from bill without being asked. Minor issue and great food.

The service was fast and the food was good.. Only issue I asked the waiter what he would recommend and he answered completely honestly that he hadn't tried anything so couldn't give an informed response. I think that's poor. People should know what they are serving. He was a great waiter. He asked the chef about the steaks for me. Really appreciated it!! Also the decor seemed confused.

It was a really good experience, was greeted with a warm welcome and seated straight away, couldn't fault the food was one of best steaks I've ever eaten. We will defiantly be visiting the resturant again if we return to the hotel
