Not a bad restaurant, very central, a little pricey but it is central London so expected. food good, Patatas Fritas were really just chips with a sauce should be Patatas Bravas? Artichoke was lovely. Croqueta was a little soggy. White wine was nice but not sufficiently chilled.

Ember Yard specialises in Spanish and Italian-influenced small plates, cooked over charcoal and wood on a bespoke Basque grill. Located in north Soho a few steps from Oxford Street, Ember Yard is a popular draw for its 2 AA Rosette-awarded cuisine.

The ever-evolving tapas menu at Ember Yard offers a fittingly smoky range of dishes, from charred mackerel escabeche with brown crab emulsion, to chargrilled ibérico presa with whipped jamón butter, and from courgette flowers stuffed with goat’s cheese and honey, to grilled pumpkin with buffalo ricotta. There are always a couple of large plates for the whole table to feast on too, such as hot-smoked pork belly with smoked apple and cider glaze. On Sundays, a 4-course feast with free-flowing prosecco, white or red wine is served at Ember Yard in Soho.

The wine list boasts carefully chosen Spanish and Italian wines alongside sherries, gins and vermouths. There is a particular emphasis on inventive cocktails, with some of them even having that Ember Yard smoky touch.

Diners are served over 2 floors, and there is a private dining room which seats up to 24 people. Ember Yard in London is sister restaurant to the highly praised Salt Yard, Dehesa and Opera Tavern. Oxford Circus and Tottenham Court Road Tube stations are both a 5-minute walk away. Please note that only charcuterie, cheese and bar snacks are served from 15:00 - 17:00.

Great place for a cosy dinner. Very friendly efficient staff. They didn't have the wine we originally wanted, but their recommended wine was delicious. We had food from the small plates section which was all quaffed down. Only niggle I have is that the tables are rather close together so intimate conversations can be heard and also woman swiped the tea-light off our table with her bag as she was trying to get to her seat.

Good food, great service. Some portions too expensive for size and content.

The staff were excellent and incredibly helpful. Unfortunately, the allergens menu doesn't leave many options if you're allergic to dairy & vegetarian, so I couldn't really choose what to eat.

Great atmosphere, nice venue and interesting tapas. Drinks were too expensive. How can you charge €8.00 for a shot of Anis???

Our second time at Ember Yard after discovering it on our last trip to London three years ago. Food was as good as we remembered, and the service could not have been better! Gotta love the tapas concept, but it was the overall experience that brought us back, this time. Looking forward to our next visit.
