Restaurant description

From acclaimed restaurateur Phil Howard and holder of a prestigious Michelin star, Elystan Street in Chelsea serves seasonal, ingredient-led dishes in a relaxed yet refined setting. Rich British and European creations are joined by an impressive wine selection, as well as innovative cocktails and local beers.

The Elystan Street menu begins with the likes of roast calf’s sweetbread with truffled autumn slaw, tartare of aged beef with artichoke heart and truffle, and ravioli of langoustines with barbecue dressing. Amongst the flavour-packed mains, try breast of mallard with pumpkin and chestnuts, salt-baked white beetroot and celeriac with truffled hazelnut pesto, or the aged fillet and short rib of beef with creamed potato, bone marrow, wild mushroom and red wine.

Desserts at Elystan Street restaurant are just as inventive, and include roasted figs with goat’s milk ice cream, lemon and thyme fritters and olive oil, and smashed brownie with chocolate foam, hazelnut ice cream and vanilla Chantilly. The Elystan Street wine list covers an array of international wines, with rare bottles joined by champagnes, ports and sherries.

A perfect birthday dinner for my husband, we started with a lemon verbena sour which was excellent and the food was delicious, we enjoyed every course. We have been here many times but on this occasion the food was truly outstanding.

Love Elystan- have been quite a few times. Food always fresh and delicious and interesting menu. Staff lovely. Love that it's quiet and you can talk to the person you're with. Decor is a little bland- not quite Scandi or 50's Modern or....? But so much better than dark and plush and noisy.
