The food is good, the service is slow and lacks flow.

Very enjoyable dining experience, although two of the dishes were slightly dissapointing and the room was lacking a bit of atmosphere. Couple of small details and this is easily a great restaurant.

Every part of the experience was great. Most importantly the food was amazing, we had the tamale, the mushroom broth, something with polenta and something with pork (sorry I don't remember the names). The cocktails were also very good and looked awesome (we all envied the one who got his in a skull shaped glass). The place itself is beautiful and comfortable. Finally, we stayed at the table for quite a while after we were done eating and were in no way rushed to leave.

Absolutely fantastic. The staff were so friendly from the moment we walked in. Clear explanation of the dishes and cocktails available in the deal that we had booked. The octopus starter was amazing as were the mains and the best mole sauce that came with the duck dish. Really enjoyed everything that we ate and drank. Enjoyed the atmosphere and music in the restaurant as well. My husband was trying to Shazam one of the tunes that was playing and one of the waiters kindly came over ,having written it down on paper for us. Wow what an evening, can’t wait to return.

Food presentation is divine, cocktails are among the best I have had in London and food taste is delicious. However, I would recommend working on the appearence of the place, as it is clear that they have adapted a cool and modern hotel area to become a Mexican restaurants, but some corners are stil very cold and empty and art is missing! so much can be done!!!

It was disappointing from the start. The hostess blatantly Doubted our reservation until I show her my confirmation email. She then seated us next to a large group to whom our waiter ONLY had eyes and attention for. He forgot items we asked for and never asked how our meal was. We stayed at the intercontinental that week and finally decided to try Ella Canta for something special on our last night in London. The food on the bright side was absolutely delicious and the Vicky were impressive. It’s a shame the service was far less than perfect for the $$$$

I visited Ella Canta on Wednesday evening for the first time dragging my husband along as he wasn’t a fan of Mexican food. We had the Bookatable offer which was good value and we both loved the food. The staff were really good and we loved the music. Would definitely recommend.
