Very enjoyable meal with high quality and decorative food with attentive service but courses were quite rushed, so felt as if you were being rushed out.

The restaurant is one of the restaurants within the Intercontinental Hotel on Park Lane. My party all had the set menu for £39. This worked out a bit cheaper as the price included a cocktail. This menu was very small and half of the choices had supplements which seemed unfair as this meant there was a high chance of paying extra. One of my party ordered the lamb with the £9 supplement whilst I had the beef with no supplement. Our dishes had the same quantity of food on them so no extra for the extra £9. I found the food over salty and the plantain puree was too bitter to eat. Our party of three each had a different dessert. None of us liked our own or the other persons we tried. My party eat out at restaurants in London frequently but still felt this one was pricey. The cocktails were beautifully presented but tasted awful. I really wanted to love this place as the food looked absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately no one in my party liked the taste of it.

I really enjoyed my starter of octopus, and had a couple of lovely cocktails.... but the mains, desserts and service were extremely disappointing! And to top it all, out bill was wrong by about £40/50!

Both the cocktails and the food were very imaginative with unusual combinations and tastes - very enjoyable. The staff were lovely but I presume had been given instructions to explain every dish in minute detail which can get a little wearing. We were with friends and our problem was that the volume of the background music meant it wasn’t actually in the background and our conversations were difficult. The staff kindly turned the sound down when asked - our problem could be that we were rather above the average age of the rest of the room. I would definitely recommend this place to my daughters but maybe not to my peers.

Absolutely loved this place. The food was very tasty, particularly the octopus starter and the beef cheek main. Portions were generous. Great non alcoholic cocktails and lovely staff. Would definitely recommend.

No, it is not good! I never usually write reviews but I just couldn't believe how awful every single dish was, the guacamole was the only edible dish! I will give a descriptive review so you don't make the same mistake I did, I had guests over to visit and was actually so embarrassed that I had taken them there as all four of us were so disappointed. Beef Tacos - Not much flavour, boring - honestly just so so bland! Tostada - 3 tiny tostadas (size of an Oreo) As above, no big deal, not much flavour Guacamole - This was good, feta and pomegranate to add flavour and the gold grasshopper was a nice touch Tamal Mexicano - Soggy, tasteless, horrible Calado Cristalino - This was mushrooms on some corn type bread, it wasn't terrible but if I was at a nice restaurant I wouldn't have thought anything of it, it was one of the better of a bad bunch Duck Mole - This was okay but tiny portion again, the mole sauce was bland and presentation was dull Cachete de res - Beef cheek, it was cooked well but not much going on, wouldn't have taken much just to add some flavour or something interesting Pollo de Leche - Disgusting, tasteless - Nothing gone into this at all, lentils were overcooked and chicken literally tasted like barbequed air Churros - Dry Fruit with Sorbet - Fine - Fruit with sorbet , fruit was nice Margaritas - Sour and too much alcohol so not enjoyable Michelada - Needed more tomato juice and spice Cocktail - I cant remember the name, it had honey and tequila in it - about 6 lines to describe it on the menu so I just thought there's no way this could be bad. Its tasted like water sugar and tequila - DISGUSTING - couldn't drink it. Don't make the same mistake I did, they have obviously put a lot of money into marketing and obviously as she was on master chef that would have helped get the name out there. Also the decor is like some Miami run down hotel Do not believe the hype, I was so disappointed and embarrassed that I had brought my guests here
