In fashionable Westbourne Grove, W2, El Pirata de Tapas attracts a cosmopolitan crowd who enjoy traditional Spanish cuisine in an enchanting neighbourhood ambience. The ground floor exudes a quiet elegance, while on the El Pirata De Tapas lower floor, the jamón ibérico pata negra gran reserva hams make a stunning backdrop.
El Pirata De Tapas head chef Omar Allibhoy conjures up contemporary dishes full of flavour. His innovative sharing meals are a big hit with groups of friends enjoying informal lunches and laid-back after-work meals. Try the seared scallops, paprika crispy squid, or black rice with squid and black aioli at El Pirata De Tapas. Spanish comfort food in the form of Serrano ham croquetas and authentic tortilla make any meal complete, while dishes such as pork cheeks or six hour roasted pork belly ensure you will come back for more.
Fine Spanish wines, brandies and liqueurs, and regionally inspired cocktails all further enhance the true Iberian flavour of popular El Pirata De Tapas.

Reserved a table for Dinner, The service was very welcoming and flexible (despite me running a bit late) Loved the tapas dishes, the array of flavors and styles of the dishes! Great Experience!

We were late and in a rush - they were helpful, speedy and brought us some very delicious tapas in a timely manner - all very tasty and good value. I will definitely go back when I have more time to spend enjoying the menu. Helpfully they have a menu marked up with their gluten free choices.

Service is bad, very bad!! I love Spanish people they are professional and smiley but those working here.. not at all! Our waitress poured mayonnase (not water or wine) all over us (my frined was over from Paris for a party, was wearing something very elegant and had no change) she simply said "sorry, come back with your drycleaning bill and i will refund it"..... as if we could go back weeks later, from far away, with our drycleaner's invoice and very likely find a different waitress working there! Food is very good but unfortunately the athmosphere was not as happy.
