El Cantara fuses Spanish and Moroccan influences to create something truly unique. Located in London's Soho, the atmosphere in this well-designed restaurant puts the accent on good food, good company and a good setting. The starter list is extensive and includes a mix of flavours that may appear unusual, but are wonderfully harmonious. Try the beetroot and avocado salad, served with a balsamic and olive oil dressing or baby peppers stuffed with a potato and carrot puree. Vegetarians can enjoy main courses such as baccoula or broad beans with mixed herbs, cumin and garlic. Fish and seafood are also popular, including oven baked sardines with a herb crust, for example, or a seafood tagine, both of which are as visually attractive as they are tasty.
