We dined at 6pm as we were going to lyceum theatre afterwards. we had 3 courses, all of which were very tasty. We also tried the Belini's (Pimms and Prosecco) which were fantastic! This was the first time we had been to Ego's (we were recommended by friends), and it definately won't be the last. A thoroughly enjoyable meal out.

We were booked at 7.30pm and chose a table that had just been vacated in the window. It was reset whilst we were offered a seat in the bar. The meal was good, portions are not over big but adequate and with authentic flavours. it is value for money when using a voucher but otherwise a little overpriced especially at the bar. It cost around[$]for two large wines and two halves of lager.

Arrived early for pre theatre booking (perfect location)but no problem to staff, who seated us at once. Service prompt and attentive but not hurrying us over meal. Food very good and good variety on menu - 1 of us had coq au vin, 1 Greek salad and 1 tagine. I even had dessert which I don't usually - divine choc fondant! No complaints!

WE HAD A PRE-THEATRE DINNER AT 17.50 WITH A TWO COURSES FOR [$] THIS WAS EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY WITH FOUR CHOICES ON EACH SECTION.

Pre-theatre. Lack of vegetables with meat dishes. They use some silly deep dishes that can be hard to eat out of. Quality of food was great. (On our first visit we were really not impressed by the Greek Meze. All the ingredients felt and tasted cheap. The seafood was awful. Mussels were tiny and tasted bad.)
