Great place! Service was amazing. Really great experience fo my boyfriend from LA. The teas were tasty and it was really generous portion for one person - we couldn’t finish it all.

In the heart of bustling Knightsbridge, The Egerton House Hotel offers elegant boutique dining. Afternoon Tea is quite an event at The Chesterfield Mayfair - Highly Commended at the Afternoon Tea Awards 2018.

Traditional afternoon tea at Egerton House Hotel offers a selection of mouth-watering sandwiches, freshly baked scones with Cornish clotted cream and indulgent cakes. Try the homemade chocolate and orange brownie, toffee caramel cupcake and spiced pumpkin and plum tart.

Add extra indulgence with the champagne afternoon tea and for the kids, a Teddy Bear's Picnic afternoon tea adds a playful twist to the tradition, with miniature treats accompanied by a delicious hot chocolate drink.

The discreet Egerton House is known for its classic signature martinis alongside a range of gins, whiskies and specially selected spirits from all over the world. The Egerton House Hotel is a 7-minute walk from Knightsbridge and South Kensington Tube Stations.

We had a lovely vegan afternoon tea. There was a great variety and selection of sandwiches and cakes and also 2 different types of scones. It's in a very relaxed environment despite being so close to some busy London roads. Chose from many different teas and make sure you are not in a hurry since there is plenty to eat.

We had tea and it was absolutely delightful. They had a vegan, vegetarian and traditional option so everyone was accommodated. My vegan daughter was so excited and said the cakes and sandwiches were amazing! She was thrilled to actually have scones with a vegan version of cream, and said that they were delicious, as well. The staff was lovely and the setting was perfect! Highly recommended! We loved everything about our experience and would definitely return.

Beautiful building inside & out. Such friendly welcoming staff. Had the afternoon Tea there it was probably the best I’ve had with such a selection of teas.

The hotel was beautiful, and I loved sitting by the window. We had the vegan afternoon tea. The finger sandwiches were delicious, and the tea we were recommended was perfect. I especially liked the guacamole and the olive and tomato sandwiches. The scones were a bit dry and chewy, and the pastries a bit bland. I think the recipes need working on. We left feeling happy and well rested, and dreaming of spending Christmas at your hotel.

Nice setting, although our table was in the corner by the door so not quite as grand as the table by the window or the big seatee opposite the fireplace. The afternoon tea options were good and I was pleased with the vegan options. However i must admit i thought it was a little steep in price, i did some research after and the cost of champagne afternoon tea was slightly more than the Ritz! Whilst it was nice, I don't think i would return and would probably suggest the Ritz if you're going to be spending £77 for a champagne afternoon tea.

Excellent service and extremely welcoming! We opted for the doggy afternoon tea plus a traditional and vegetarian afternoon tea and it was delicious for all! Everyone was super helpful and our dog thoroughly enjoyed the meatloaf, biscuits and ice cream!! Our cakes and sandwiches were delicious too :-)

We had a vegan and vegetarian afternoon tea, which were both incredible. It is usually difficult to find such a variety of vegan options so we were very impressed that the entire afternoon tea was vegan. The best part was definitely the scones! The atmosphere, service and setting were perfect and we will definitely be returning again and again.

I had afternoon tea with my dog. The service was well over my expectation and the assortment of sandwiches and cakes was spotless. And my dog was treated to a superb meat loaf and biscuit. One of the most enjoyable experience for afternoon tea I ever had. I am planning to go back as soon as I can.

Myself and my daughter enjoyed a wonderful champagne afternoon tea after a busy morning in South Kensington. What a find! The hotel is simply beautiful and the service was excellent. Staff were so friendly and made us feel instantly relaxed and at home in the cosy drawing room. The food was delicious and we were even surprised with a tiny birthday cake complete with candle and singing for my daughter. Staff had remembered her name when I had mentioned in passing that it was her birthday. If you are out and about in South Kensington for a special day come here for afternoon tea. My daughter was absolutely delighted and I can't praise it highly enough. Already planning to go and stay for a night when she graduates from her degree course.
