My friend and I booked for the "bottomless" afternoon tea. We arrived early and were seated straight away and the staff were friendly and attentive. The only fault was that it was not clear how long the bottomless aspect lasted. Most other places state when booking and the standard seems to be around 2 hours so I presumed the same. However, after an hour we had to ask for more and were served 2 more glasses with a comment that "this is your last" when the final one was poured! There did seem to be a shift change midway through our tea and service did go downhill a ton this time. Otherwise, it was a lovely afternoon tea and good value for money.

Lovely experience. Hotel was beautiful, and staff went above and beyond making us feel right at home, so professional and friendly. Food was nice, coffee and tea and prosecco all perfect. Already wanting to come back! Thank you Hilton Edg for making Mother's day the best one yet for a Mother and her two daughters :)

Went here for a birthday celebration with two friends for bottomless prosecco afternoon tea. Hotel itself is nice enough; unfortunately that is where the positive experience ended. Sandwiches stale, and no refill on them. Scones not warm, and the cakes were honestly inedible- bizarre flavours! And definitely not bottomless..they didn't proactively bring over a refill even once! Instead it was trying to catch our waitress' attention every 30/45 minutes. It wasn't even busy. Terrible customer service. If I wasn't too embarrassed to do so I'd have asked the service charge to have been removed (I never contemplate doing this!) Do not recommend.

I was not particularly impressed staff not very friendly in fact quite rude at times. Free flowing prosecco was not free flowing and did have to ask for a top up 3 times which at one point the waitress comments were quite off when i asked her to fill my glass as she had only poured half a glass. Staff were quite welcoming. Nice open space though i was expecting a nicer environment where we were seated. Tea/coffee was served at least 5-10 mins in advance and by the time the cakes/scones arrived my tea was pretty cold. Sandwiches were okay, scones were lively and a couple of the cakes.

It was not dining per se but afternoon tea and cocktails, tea was passable, sandwiches were a little dry and tiny and we did, receive, after asking. some more, scones were delicious and jam and cream selection was very good but cakes let it down, too gooey and fake. service was VERY GOOD and seats were comfortable. cocktail service was excellent. did not receive cocktail that was on tea offer. would try again
