Set amidst 150 acres of preened parkland, Dunston Hall showcases elegant British cuisine and afternoon teas. This 4-star Elizabethan-style mansion dates back to 1859, offering regal style and unmatched comfort.
Focusing on crowd-pleasing favourites, the Dunston Hall menu spans from succulent grills and burgers, through to adventurous signature main courses.
All the traditional treats are served on the Dunston Hall afternoon tea menu, and come beautifully presented. To start, there are delicate finger sandwiches with gourmet fillings, moving on to home-baked plain and sultana scones served with Cornish clotted cream and red berry preserves. A selection of expertly prepared desserts are also included at Dunston Hall in Norwich, such as mixed macaroons and dark chocolate delice with brandy snap tuile. As well as selection of loose leaf teas, diners can opt for glasses of champagne and prosecco, and even signature cocktails to add another level of indulgence to their meal.
A beautiful setting filled with classic comfort, Dunston Hall is a 16-minute drive from central Norwich.

Lovely afternoon, fabulous service from Ryan in a beautiful setting. The food was delicious. This was a 50th birthday treat for my friend and I couldn't fault it in the slightest! Thank you very much.

Acceptable afternoon tea for the price.....small niggles as no cutlery to use the butter/cream and jam from dish....tea pots full of (naturally) not boiling water with tea leaves in basket to be inserted at table, I would have preferred tea leaves in pot with boiling water added. Perhaps Dunstan Hall should look at The Coffe House in Woburn's web site for inspiration, admittedly a little more expensive, but what a wonderful tea we had there in superb surroundings.

lets start with the tea; lovely selection, the pomegranate was divine but felt like a nuisance asking for a clean cup when I swapped to a new flavour. The scones fell apart on the plate and were crumbly and bland it was not a great option. The cakes were the highlight, very moist and great little selection that appeals to the chocoholics and fruit lovers. The sandwiches were the most disappointing of all however, with three tiny fingers each, one filled with nothing but a measly bit of cucumber, no cheese about it, the chutney made the bread soft and my tummy was still rumbling. Overall I did not think it was worth even a quarter of the price paid.

We had an absolutely lovely time. Service was very quick and everyone was lovely and kind. We were a little uncertain what to do having never been there before but the waitress quickly came over and was able to explain everything to us. The food was lovely, there was only one bit we did not like, but that was because of our personal preferences.
It almost felt like the waitresses were watching us as they always came along to ask if we would like anything else to drink at just the perfect time, just as we finished our previous one.
We found the room lovely and relaxing and felt like we could of stayed all afternoon talking and drinking our drinks without anyone minding at all.
Unfortunately we were unable to finish all of our food but the staff were more than happy to give us a box to take the rest home in.
The only downside is that I am in a wheelchair and space was a little tight, we were unable to leave through the door we would of preferred as someone was sitting near the exit, therefore giving me no space to get past, however it was not too much effort to go back in the way we came in.

An excellent atmosphere with quiet attendance by the staff. Enjoyed the free supply of tea and how it was provided. Slightly too many cakes as a proportion of the meal.

very disappointed with afternoon tea. £20.00 / person for what was x 4 scones (why 4 for two people !) too many cakes not enough savoury i.e mini quiches / cheese straws and/or scones mini sausage rolls would have been nice. 4 slices of bread with average fillings. One strawberry halved.
unlimited tea / coffee and soft drinks 'not in a bottle' ?? inc. tap water ? seriously. The setting is lovely and staff friendly.
