Set amidst 150 acres of preened parkland, Dunston Hall showcases elegant British cuisine and afternoon teas. This 4-star Elizabethan-style mansion dates back to 1859, offering regal style and unmatched comfort. Guests can enjoy the indulgent rotisserie buffet served carvery style, as well as afternoon teas commanding views over the 18-hole golf course.

Focusing on crowd-pleasing favourites, the Dunston Hall menu is served carvery style, with succulent rotisserie meats served alongside starters, desserts, and seasonal specials from the kitchen.

All the traditional treats are served on the Dunston Hall afternoon tea menu, and come beautifully presented. To start, there are delicate finger sandwiches with gourmet fillings, moving on to home-baked plain and sultana scones served with Cornish clotted cream and red berry preserves. A selection of expertly prepared desserts are also included at Dunston Hall in Norwich, such as mixed macaroons and dark chocolate delice with brandy snap tuile. Guests can also enjoy an impressive Sunday roast carvery with 3 roast meats on offer, vegetables, homemade Yorkshires & plenty of gravy.

A beautiful setting filled with classic comfort, Dunston Hall is a 16-minute drive from central Norwich.

Menu was very limited, the beef in the carvery was very tough, the vegetables were lukewarm and the house wine was overpriced @ £29 a bottle. The only redemption were the staff who were very helpful.

I am not a fan of carveries and would like a four star hotel to have waitress service for all courses.

We stayed at Dunston Hall for 2 nights, and both nights we ate in the brasserie restaurant, we had a carvery on the first night, and we didn’t particularly enjoy it it tasted quite bland so we said we would have something else the Saturday night, however the carvery that night was excellent the meat wAs cooked to perfection and the vegetables were so much better maybe a different chef ?

Three of us met to have dinner in the brasserie. We chose to have the buffet menu and had pork from a choice of pork, chicken or salmon. The single piece of pork was carved by a chef and then we helped ourselves to sauces and vegetables. There was a good selection of vegetables, all of which were hot. There was also a choice of two types of gravy and several different sauces (apple etc). For one course it was £17 which I felt was a bit steep for a one piece of pork and some veg. I think £14 would be a more reasonable price.

Although we had a table booked for 12-30pm we were told the restaurant was not ready because the menus had not arrived. We were about 10 minutes late, sitting down however the quality of the food was excellant, service was very good(even when i spilt my drink killing a wasp ,it was replaced at no charge. One criticism only the Chef who did the carevery could have had a clean apron on.

To be honest you couldn't really fault it. Friendly, chatty staff, nice food, gorgeous venue, really enjoyed it.
It was bought for me as a gift and the only thing I was told is that the food we recieved wasn't as special looking as the photo of the food displayed online.
