Castle Ashby Station, Grendon Road, Northampton, NN7 1NP 01604 726454
Once a railway station, Dunkley's is now a quaintly charming restaurant with an atmospheric setting amidst the station's former goods sheds and 1920s train carriages in the rural Northamptonshire village of Whiston. Cuisine is a blend of modern European standards, from steak and kidney suet pudding to sweet pepper and tomato risotto, with different menus offered every weekend.

Restaurant was cramped with people on top of each other. Staff friendly and food good. Only one vegetarian option which was bland and tasteless. Took half an hour to order a dessert.

All the courses we chose were superb, delicious, well presented, tasty and good value. it was a Birthday celebration with family that we shall long remember and recommend to others. We look forward to our next visit. Trains -steam and modern- are a passion of the two men in the party. The pictures and history of the Restaurant were of great interest.
