Famous for their pizzas, Don Pasquale uses premium Italian flour to make its dough, and stonebakes its thin and chewy bases to 400 degrees. Choose from the fiery mega calzone with spicy sausage and chilli, or a range of trusty classics. Sumptuous antipasti plates, pasta imported direct from Italy and traditional Italian breakfasts are also offered on the Don Pasquale menu.

Ever family friendly, Don Pasquale in Cambridge offers a varied bambini menu just for kids, with miniature versions of Italian classics on offer. Milkshakes, coffees and chilled Italian beers are served at the bar, as well as a selective international wine list.

A cosy hideaway, guests can dine in the atmospheric cellar dining room at Don Pasquale restaurant. In the heart of the historic city, Don Pasquale restaurant is a 9-minute drive from Cambridge Rail Station.

We had a very pleasant pre-theatre dinner at Don Pasquale's. The food was good and reasonable value for money. We were seated downstairs, which was really nice, but found there needed to be more lighting on our (the) table/s which did not have a wall light nearby. We did ask the waiter who served us if he could light our table lamp but he obviously forgot...he seemed to be a little over worked, the waitress who served our food was much more relaxed and seemed to have more time to engage with us. This is not a criticism of either....more for the restaurant to note....but all in all we were quite satisfied, although we did find the HUGE profiteroles (the largest we have EVER seen!!!!!), disappointing, as they were quite they were not really enjoyed. The tiramisu was delicious and a definite recommendation!! We found the menu to be quite comprehensive although DP, any chance you could put more fish and chicken dishes on your menu.....please??? Thank you!

The pizza was unfortunately underwhelming: it was slightly different to the previous time I was there. The vongole dish was very good however and I liked the service by a very friendly - and honest - waitress.

We were seated at a table that had cold draught, when we asked to move to another table, it was not possible. Waitress who took our orders was very pleasant and helpful. Waiters who brought the food were brusk. Parmesan and pepper not offered.
    Meals were average.
Ordered desserts and a pot of tea, tea never arrived.
    Overall, service was poor.

Lovely setting and atmosphere but disappointed with some of the food, and lack of attention to detail from serving staff. Advertised lamb shanks turned out to be 4 very small pieces of rather chewy meat for me, and for another member of my party included two pieces of inedible, chewy gristle so she had very little of main focus of the dish overall. A young waiter, though friendly and obliging did not pay attention to detail in the way that other establishments do: not recalling who ordered what, even when only one of our 3-guest party ordered a dessert. We chose not to complain and spoil what was otherwise a lovely get-together. Would hesitate to recommend for food.
