A family-run favourite established in 1973, Don Pasquale offers a fine dining twist on Italian cuisine. Immersed in the hubbub of the market square, guests can enjoy Mediterranean-style dining out on the cobbles during summer.

Famous for their pizzas, Don Pasquale uses premium Italian flour to make its dough, and stonebakes its thin and chewy bases to 400 degrees. Choose from the fiery mega calzone with spicy sausage and chilli, or a range of trusty classics. Sumptuous antipasti plates, pasta imported direct from Italy and traditional Italian breakfasts are also offered on the Don Pasquale menu.

Ever family friendly, Don Pasquale in Cambridge offers a varied bambini menu just for kids, with miniature versions of Italian classics on offer. Milkshakes, coffees and chilled Italian beers are served at the bar, as well as a selective international wine list.

A cosy hideaway, guests can dine in the atmospheric cellar dining room at Don Pasquale restaurant. In the heart of the historic city, Don Pasquale restaurant is a 9-minute drive from Cambridge Rail Station.

Long established family restaurant serving authentic Italian food. Service is pretty prompt too. Right on the market square.

We have been going to this restaurant for 30 years and we have always had a great meal. The pizza bases are authentic - a wonderful crispy/doughy mix.

Visited this restaurant on Wednesday for a pre-concert meal. Food excellent, staff OK but perhaps would benefit from a little customer care training. For example, two of our party ordered portobello mushrooms as a starter but received mushroom bruschetta instead. When queried with the waitress, we were told ' well it is mushrooms, which you ordered'. In fact, the bruschetta was our second choice but no less enjoyable and we didn't want to wait longer for a starter, but it would have been better if the waitress had apologised and offered us the original order. The waiter seems to have simply written 'mushrooms' on his order book and the kitchen staff incorrectly guessed what he meant ! Two of our party ordered the chocolate lemon tart for desert which was described as being served with ice cream. In fact, it was served with cream. Neither of these issues was a big deal, but attention to detail is all in the restaurant world.

We chose this restaurant for its extensive menu but also the thought of being able to dine and see Cambridge's Christmas lights. This proved a false prospectus as seating is in the basement!
Food was very good and reasonably priced. Service was fine too but I was disappointed they had no draft beer.
