Booking was easy, maybe too easy looking back on it! Restaurant was empty and quite cold. Food was very good overall, I had soup and a filet steak, while my wife had goats cheese tarts, mushroom risotto and a panacotta. Service was good if a little too fast, but due to lack of customers there was no ambiance at all. Therefore not recommended.

Good atmosphere, pleasant surroundings and attentive service, however although the menu choices and the food presentation were good, the main course was horribly salty, and the desert lacked flavour.

    Wine selection was good.

    I wouldn't eat there again.

The restaurant has a lovely feel and comfortable seating as well as being a comfortable temperature. I enjoyed the seafood mix as a main course but found the avocado and chocolate cheesecake a little rich. My husband's steak was cooked really well, but he commented on some of the chilli squid being chewy. He also did not enjoy the creme friache which came with the pineapple dessert. It was full of small pieces which were like chewing pieces of wood. Service was very good and staff were welcoming and friendly.

The food we enjoyed at the Dolphin Brasserie was faultless. The duck and the venison were sublime, we'll definitely be going there again.

This is fine dining at affordable prices. The food was fresh, healthy and original. A brave chef I think who has the confidence to use different flavours and he must have the palate to know that these tastes will work together.
My friend and I were delighted with the experience and, as unashamed foodies, it takes a lot to get us excited!
Service, decor and food, all a delight. I look forward to my next visit

The food was excellent and the service, superb. The only think negative to say Is that the music wasa bit odd and at some times annoying.

Very imaginative English Breakfast, with home made ketchup. I cannot imagine leaving hungry. Deserts were tasty and beautifully presented. We will be back for dinner.
