Given a 5-star review by AA Gill in the Sunday Times, Dock Kitchen Notting Hill is tucked away in the old Virgin Records complex in a Victorian goods yard on the Grand Union Canal. Initially opened as a pop-up supper club by chef Stevie Parle and his sister, the Dock Kitchen has grown into an established name on the city's restaurant scene.
Always changing, the Dock Kitchen menu is spontaneous and inspired by a variety of themes, ranging from the seasons to different authors. British classics are infused with international flavours, seen in the red-legged partridge or grouse from the Yorkshire moors, roasted with Moroccan spiced honey, Muscat grapes and couscous. Tastes of India at Dock Kitchen Ladbroke Grove can be found in vegetarian options like beetroot and chard leaf mallum with chapatti.
Overlooking the Grand Union Canal, Dock Kitchen London features eclectic, industrial-style interior, with exposed brick walls and metal beams.
Run in conjunction with British furniture and lighting designer Tom Dixon, Dock Kitchen restaurant is in easy reach of Ladbroke Grove Tube Station.

Location is great for us and apart from the challenge of a parking space the whole experience was positive. The restaurant catches the midday sun and this coupled with the food made the time to catch up with friends ideal.Menu was simple but with variety and distinctive dishes.I shared the Biriyani and the two others enjoyed the Quail dish. The only aspect which was commented on was the long space between ordering and the food arriving. But a relaxed time was had by all and the overall feeling was positive.
